June 12 -- We have been in Fajardo, Puerto Rico for three days, much of which has been spent shopping at big US based stores like COSTCO, Sam's, Best Buy,and West Marine to restock before the remote Bahamas. Driving is half US experience and half exotic foreign experience. It is a real challenge to find the entrances to these stores, the driveways being well camouflaged and signs thin.
This quickie update is to let you know that we are departing Fajardo this morning for Turks and Caicos. We anticipate a two to three day passage.
I'm sorry that I haven't been able to get the blog updated while here. Free internet here, but lots going in.
